Selaginella SP in Raw White Bowl

Selaginella SP also known as spike moss, is not exactly a moss or fern, but seemed to have characteristics of both species.  Their unique feature is  a “centipede leaf” that grows on moist ground and its fronds especially the new shoots display a iridescent bluish-green under low light conditions that is just beautiful to look at.

Selaginella SP plant care
Light:
Place in semi or partial shade, low to medium light, away from direct sunlight.

Water:
Always keep it moist. Potted in one of our own compact premier soil mix, it will help hold the moisture in. Water when surface of soil mix is dry. Do not let it dry out.

Humidity
Best placed in a spot with slightly higher humidity.
