Rare dendrosicyos socotranus is native & endemic to the island of Socotra in Yemen. The island is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for being home to a diverse species of natural, unique fauna and flora.
The plant has this beautiful unique heart shaped leaves with soft spikey edges and is the only species from the cucumber family that’s a tree. It’s also known for its unique caudex stem.
Our dendrosicyos although rare are seed grown from a nursery for a more sustainable future.
