Biophytum sensitivum is a gorgeous little palm-like plant species. Native to wetland areas of India and Southeast Asia, it’s commonly found near streams and waterfalls. Its name “sensitivum” comes about from the way its leaves fold downwards in response to touch and at night for protection. We styled him with clumps of star moss around the stones to look really nice and also keep the moisture in. It looks really like one of those made belief tiny island tropical resort from far short of the sandy beaches. 🏝️💚

Plant Care
Water
Water the centre Biophytum Sensitivum once a week indoors. Mist the star moss around it everyday.
Light
Place in a spot where there is bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun and heat.
Tip: Try placing a glass dome or a clear bag over it when you are a little busy and can’t mist them every day. This helps to keep the moisture and humidity in.
